So my whirlwind year at USD is coming to a close, as we're done with all but one of our classes, plus a capstone project. For my capstone I will be heading to Guatemala with a delegation representing the USD's Institute for Peace and Justice to explore ways to support the ongoing peace and reconciliation process following the long civil war. I am excited for the opportunity to participate in real and relevant fieldwork.
I already miss getting to see my 14 other cohort members regularly, so as I think of them, I thought I'd take the advice of one of them who told me to start blogging when I go to Guatemala. This first post is dedicated to the friends and memories from grad school.
